We had a 5 night stay in this apartment, which is in a perfect location for walking to Beale Street and many other sights in Memphis. We felt totally safe walking around the area. Parking was really easy and was right next to the building, although someone did pinch our space for a few hours which Gina helped us out with. The place was spacious and comfortable. It was noisy on Friday and Saturday night, but nothing more than you would expect and it didn’t bother us at all. Ear plugs are provided if you want them. Check in and out was simple and communication was excellent. Would recommend.
This was our first time to the area and the location was perfect off Main St. Since you have reserved parking you can use the trolly if you like to get around. The apartment was clean,well stocked, and decorated in a very modern way. Please take note of the list provided by the host as far as favorites places. You will get a list via a link from the host as well as a laminated print by the coffee machine. This list came in very handy during our stay. If you are a light sleeper the host anticipated this need by including ear plugs along with a white noise machine. The location provided linens along with washer and dryer. This apartment is in a safe area and you can walk to restaurants nearby. Speaking of right next door the place is called Good Fortune and their wings were excellent. We are looking forward to staying here again.

Fabulous location! The apartment is lovely, but if you are a light sleeper, you might want to look further. City noise (to be expected) and bright lights from the surrounding businesses. Lots kitchen amenities and easy check-in and check-out. We really appreciated the dedicated parking spot.
Clean, attractive place. Perfect for 2 people. Good location and the parking spot is key for this part of Memphis. There was a good amount of noise that we could hear in the unit that I think was from the restaurant. It died down by 10 pm.
The location is perfect for downtown Memphis - we did not need to use our car once during the weekend. We enjoyed our stay and would come again!

This property was such a nice surprise. Never being to Memphis before we kind of took a gamble based on what we could see on line. Wow did we make out on that. Perfect location, Very clean, a few minutes walk to so much. The Peabody Hotel and the Ducks, Beale St. and all it has to offer, and only two blocks form the Civil Rights Museum. It was nice to be able to do a load of laundry as well since we had been on the road for a few days. The only sad thing was that some of the restaurants and business that were recommended to visit, didn't survive Covid-19. We did find some great spots on our own. We will be back to Memphis and we will be repast guests.

Very clean, well equipped and spacious. Wonderful location in a very interesting arts district. Lots of good restaurants close by. Communications were always very prompt. Unlike some other reviewers, we found no problem at all with noise but we were there only during the week. All in all, we found the apartment very good for our visit to Memphis. We will certainly look for the same rental if we make another trip to Memphis.
Excellent host, excellent place in an excellent location in an excellent town! and hands down the easiest checkout I've ever experienced! I couldn't be more effuse with my praise! Like everyone else has said, this is a stone's throw from just about everything - the Civil Rights Museum, coffee shops, Beal Street, Atomic Rose, the Fed Ex stadium, the Memphis Riverboats dock, the Arcade Restaurant, the Farmer's Market etc. The red and green line trolleys come run right by, and if you need to Uber somewhere, it's super easy for your driver to pull over and get you safely. The parking lot is great, spacious, and well lit at night! And though we were pretty much right above the (super delicious) SOB restaurant (that was on Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives), we could hardly tell anything was going on downstairs. Any noise was long gone by the time we were getting ready to go to bed. If you want to save a little money on meals, check out South Point Grocery. I also enjoyed going to the Corkscrew for some adult beverages (they also sell products made in Memphis/Tennessee!). Bedrock Eats and Sweets was fabulous for breakfast (gluten free options!), and together with the Green Beetle (cute, historic bar) share a grisly story with a ghostly presence (check out a haunted walking tour). Memphis is amazing and I regret that I waited this long to visit it. I can't wait to come back, and hope I'd be able to stay at this or similar properties run by Tim and his people. Thanks again!
This loft condo was lovely . It was clean, well lit and well maintained . It’s location is lovely. It is located right in the heart of the city , close to the Mississippi River.

Very clean and stylish apartment. Completely renovated building. The space is conveniently located next to all of the buzz on South Main. One designated parking space in the lot is provided. The mattress is super firm. Tim and his team were very accommodating before and during my stay. I would definitely stay again.

Bright lights from local businesses and parking lot come through the windows at night so we had to hang towels to block them out. Other than that, great place!
The unit was just as described and pictured. The mattress was firm, very firm, but that is just how I like it. Easy access, private parking spot, and ideal location to explore downtown Memphis.
Tim and his team were very nice and communicated very well with me. I personally loved that everything appeared easy and I loved that they had an online site with everything you could need for your trip and it seemed to be very close to everything we wanted to do. Unfortunately, for my case, my trip was canceled at the very last minute due to airline issues and I could not enjoy the stay or see the apartment so I didn't give it a better rating but did not want to give it a bad one either. There were some unfortunate issues that could not be resolved and I am disappointed I didn't get more help or even a credit for a later time knowing I did my best to communicate and show proof of my situation. I really wanted to stay here because it looked like a beautiful home. I am sure the home was lovely but keep in mind if there are any unforeseeable events/emergencies, the non-refundable policy for this home, is not for you in the long run.

Beautiful space, just as shown in the pictures. It is clean, comfortable, and well furnished. The location is near a lot of key Memphis attractions, making it easy to visit sites on foot. We enjoyed our stay and Tim's great communication.
Great place, good parking. Bedroom is very bright at night! They provided eye covers to sleep in ( I travel with my own) But black out curtains would be a plus here. Great place nice building would stay again!

Pros: Great location, within walking distance to the Civil Rights Museum and Beale Street. Quick to respond to questions.
Cons: You will have to flip the breaker often! We couldn’t do much with out the electrical going out (ie. Iron clothes). A huge hassle when you’re getting dressed for your day.
Tim and his team did an absolutely amazing job with our stay. They responded to messages quickly and the loft looked just as it was pictured. The location was great, and check-in was super easy. My only word of caution to potential habitants, if you’re a light sleeper, this may not be the place for you. The walls are a little thin and you can hear virtually every footstep from the residents upstairs. Not at all any fault of the host, but just an FYI. Beyond that, I would for sure recommend this loft to everyone! I will definitely stay here again during my next trip to Memphis.

You won't regret the stay! Many amenities and accommodations available. Property was safe and pleasant. Only cons are no elevators in the bldg. if you're traveling with large luggage. Nonetheless you can't beat a better location and property.
Prime location to walk and sightsee. Near great restaurants & trolley stops. Thin walls but they gave earplugs and eye masks so sound and light wasn’t an issue. Totally worth the value.
Cleanest and most spacious Airbnb! Safe with outdoor lock and door lock. Ear plugs and eye masks were provided and sound machine, I think. We did not need ear protection but didn't stay on the weekend.
Could use a few more supplies such as kitchen towel, tissue, and perhaps a different coffee maker since most travel with pods.

Great : communication and location. The unit was clean, the tub and tile were sparkling ( no mildew) , the shower curtain was fresh, the towels were clean and the furnishings were well appointed. The check in and out were seamless. The area was safe and had lots of restaurants, coffee shops and pubs. A quick walk to Beale street. No complaints here. A reasonable price with a designated parking spot.

1st time in Memphis! Everything was very clean and within walking distance. Every year we go to a different city/state for our Anniversary- this year Tim’s Loft made us feel comfortable, just like home. He had little tid-bits of places to eat, drink,etc. if we are ever in Memphis again, We WILL be booking again!

One of the best places I have ever stayed and if we are every in the area again we will be make a reservation again.
Positive: The exposed brick was beautiful. I loved the decor. The paper of local places to eat and get coffee was very helpful. We have never been to the area so that’s was great to have. Everything was very clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable.
Negative: Not enough wash clothes. We only had 3 wash clothes for 2 people for 2 nights. I know there’s a washing machine but we were gone almost all day and didn’t have time to do laundry and on vacation the last thing I want to do is laundry.
We really appreciated the mask and ear plugs being provided. The noise wasn’t a problem in the actual building. The only noise in the building was from people walking upstairs but the second night there was a very loud car going back and forth down the street at 2:30am. The light from the restaurant across the street were very bright. maybe some curtains could be put up to block some light? With the mask and ear plugs we made due.

provided. I would recommend also adding salt and pepper packets. maybe mini versions or packets
of ketchup, mustard, Mayo, etc.
I loved this stay! The only downside is that the room was very bright at night. However, Tim and his team provided sleep masks which were so helpful! It’s a great walking distance to everything you could need!

Perfect location for a visit to Memphis. Everything within walking distance: Civil Rights Museum (Lorraine Motel), Blues Museum, Beale Street, etc. Very comfortable, convenient, clean, and restful. The light comes in early, but the host provides complimentary sleep masks.

Positive: The place is beautiful! Great space, great layout. Very spacious. Nice area within walking distance of many restaurants and things to do. The Trolley runs right in front of the place.
Negative: Curtains are absolutely needed!! There are 2 super bright security lights that face every window of the apartment. They come on at 10pm every night and stay on all night long. Even with the blinds closed it still looked like daylight outside. They do graciously provide eye masks but unfortunately it wasn't much help.

Negative: El apartamento tiene ocho ventanas, todas con persianas por las cuales se filtra mucha luz aunque estén cerradas. Al amanecer, en verano, el sol asoma muy temprano por la ventana de la habitación y eso resulta un poco molesto. Si necesitas oscuridad total para dormir, este no es el lugar indicado.
En la cocina faltan suplementos básicos como sal, pimienta y papel de cocina, que en todos los apartamentos de este estilo suelen estar incluidos.

This was my first Airbnb stay so I asked lots of questions and Tim answered all of them. The remote to the ceiling fan was missing and I normally sleep with a fan but that was a small detail for me.
I loved the location, there was so much to do within walking distance!
Tim did provide an eye mask and ear plugs and they were needed so I appreciated him making sure I was prepared because it helped me sleep.

The apartment was clean & comfortable. Check in/out was super easy. There was a nice restaurant next door that has some vegan options which was awesome! The A/C is a bit noisy at night because it shuts off and on every so often, but they do provide ear plugs for noise if that’s something that would affect your sleep.

Positive: Great location, fantastic facilities. Easily situated for all Downtown locations. Felt really safe and secure. Cool feel and decor. Quiet enough at night, great provision of eye masks and earplugs as an added touch.

It’s right near beale street, Gus chicken and a few others eateries, you can walk everywhere pretty easily. The place was clean, set up just like in the pictures. There’s dishes and silverware and a microwave which makes eating leftovers easy.

Positive: A delightful, very spacious, very clean one bedroom apartment. Very well located. Almost adjacent to the Blues Museum. Short walk to the Civil Rights Museum. Moderate stroll to Beale St and 10 minutes to Peabody’s to watch the ducks. Very good supermarket/grocer close by. Trolley bus goes by along Main St every 12 minutes from 7am to midnight. Great washing machine and dryer, almost new and easy to use. Excellent for us in the middle of a 5 week vacation and one of the reasons we chose this apartment.
Negative: A/C Control was modern but no instructions. We just left it as it was. There’s a restaurant downstairs which closes at 11. No music but we could hear the patrons on the first night (a Tuesday) which may disturb light sleepers who go to bed early. We were tired from a long day and went straight to sleep. Won’t bother anyone who get’s home late from partying in Beale St. Wednesday night no noise at all but we didn’t get back from Beale St until 2230. There are no elevators and 3 short flights of stairs to level 2. 25 stairs in all. Not an issue for us but may be for persons with mobility impairment.
Positive: The property is amazing! Clean, cozy, comfortable, safe and super close to Beale St. It has restaurants around and the city trolley stop right in front. Tim (the hotel manager) was absolutely incredible and attentive. Kind person with a sincere caring demeanor. I felt completely in love with Memphis and I know that in part that was due to the excellent experience we had with Handsomely Historic Place. We are grateful for the wonderful experience and hoping to return to this hotel in the near future! 10 out of 10 for us!

Positive: The apartment was very comfortable with modern appliances, everything you’d need for a short or long stay. It is well positioned on the trolley line between the railway station and the main tourist area. There are some good bars close and only a short walk to Beale St. There is a well provisioned grocery store near the station.
Negative: The linen hadn’t been changed from the previous occupant. We stripped the bed and used the laundry facilities (very modern) in the apartment. I contacted the owners who were most apologetic and offered to rectify the issue. I’m sure that this was an oversight and not a regular occurrence and believe that they were genuinely disappointed in the cleaning staff.
I had another great stay with Tim. Located in the heart of Memphis the facility was outstanding!

In our apartment all down one side was windows which had slatted blinds over them. In the night these did not block out the bright light from the car park security lights. Black out blinds and or curtains needed. This would also help with sound. It was quiet when we were there during the week in Jan but imagine it could get pretty loud at weekends!
They did provide eye mask and ear plugs but think worth whole investing in some proper window blinds too!
This was a great Airbnb! I felt very safe walking around the area. I was able to walk to get dinner, drinks, happy hour, walking down the river, etc. A few other reviews complained about the noise level from the restaurant below/surrounding bars, but I visited on NYE weekend and I had 0 issues with noise! There was so much to do on Main Street, but it was also an easy walk to Beale Street. I would absolutely stay here again. The host was quick to communicate, but I truly had no reason to reach out over the weekend because everything was so great. Thanks for letting us stay!

Do not rent! It was virtually impossible for us to sleep due to the high wattage lights shining directly into the windows which had only basic blinds. The insult of renter intelligence was the silly eye shades left beside the beds when we checked. We didn’t sleep for 3 nights. Would be a great location and unit if the owners simply invested in some proper back out blinds.
